China’s Greater Bay Area – Executive Webinar Now Online
Dezan Shira & Associates hosted a webinar this week, titled ‘China’s Greater Bay Area: Exploring Key Sectors For Direct Investment and M&A’. This contained introductions of the GBA by the 48 Group’s Chairman Stephen Perry, Chinese Minister Yang Xiaoguang, as well as presentations by Alberto Vettoretti (Regional Overview and Infrastructure), Henry Tillman (Health Silk Road), Julia Charlton (Hong Kong / GBA Law and Tax) and Chris Devonshire-Ellis (GBA, CEPA, Double Tax and Free Trade Agreements). The event attracted several hundred high-level executives from around the world.
Staying away from politics, the webinar concentrated on business opportunities within the region and was full of technical detail. It is of use to any international executive looking at where opportunities are within this region – which if it were a country, would be the world’s 5th largest in GDP terms, just slightly behind Germany.
The webinar, which lasts for 1 hour and 48 minutes, can be viewed in full here.
